Legal stuff
Whilst involved in the organisation of the tour, neither the promoter nor its officers will be scrutinising participants’ vehicles or protective clothing nor giving formal training or instruction.
It is understood that the promoter/ organiser may not carry insurance in respect of any liability, which might arise out of an event, and that your own vehicle is covered by third party and public liability insurance. Any payment made to Grand Extreme for the tour does not include any payment for instruction or supervision or advice about vehicle setup or anything else.
The following must apply if you come on a tour with us:
- That you are competent and able to take part and that your eyesight (with lenses if worn) is adequate for the activity.
- That you do not suffer from any medical condition or disability which may make it unsafe for you to participate in an activity or tour and that you do not take any drugs that will impair your ability to take part.
- That any vehicle for which you are responsible and/or which you will use on the tour is safe and in good condition and of suitable mechanical condition.
- That you hold the correct vehicle licence for the size and type of vehicle being used. And this licence enables you to travel on the public roads in the UK and the rest of Europe.
- That you hold at least third party insurance, and valid road fund licence.
- If under the age of 18, your parent/guardian has read the above and agreed with your declaration.
You agree to make no claim against the organiser, promoter, its officers, supporting individuals, companies and agents in respect of any loss or injury suffered by me during the tour/ activity and to indemnify them against their costs and losses arising out of any claim made against them or any of them by anyone to the extent that such costs and losses are attributable directly or indirectly to your participation in the tour.
